Our Beliefs

Our Purpose: We want to help people know and love God and his goodness and equip them to be all God has destined them to be.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe he was born of a virgin according to Old Testament prophecy. He lived on earth in the flesh and He lived a sinless life. He was crucified, died and was buried. After three days he arose bodily, was seen of the disciples and ascended into heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. We believe in His second coming where He will make his enemies his footstool.

We believe in the rapture of the saints. The dead in Christ shall rise first and we which are alive upon this earth who are in Christ will be caught away to be with Him for eternally.

We believe in eternal life in Heaven for those who respond to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit and trust in Christ for Salvation by grace through faith. Those who choose not to respond to the call of God will be judged at the Great White throne and condemned to eternal separation from God.

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe the Bible to be complete and relevant for all people, everywhere, in every era. Faith is acting upon the word of God

We believe in divine healing through the shed blood and wounds of Jesus. Healing is a gift provided by Christ’s atonement and God’s sovereignty. Healing can be physical or emotional restoration which can be instantaneous or gradual. Healing can come through faith or as a gift of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus is the suffering Messiah and the triumphant healer. Healing is for all people.

We believe tithing and giving as a biblical principle and teaching. Tithing was practiced in the Old and New Testaments and throughout church history. Tithing is bringing your gift to the local church which is the New Testament storehouse. We believe that giving tithes initiates blessings from heaven specific to obedience in tithing. We believe in giving offerings, alms and caring for the poor, the sick, and the homeless; doing so is giving to Christ.

We believe in water baptism as New Testament ordinance instituted by Christ’s commandment. We believe in total submersion as practice by the apostles and the early church. We believe in baptizing in the name of the Father, the His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit; which is baptizing in the authority of and in the name of Jesus.
